Project Description

Based in County Kildare this duo brew trouble. A well established brewery, Trouble Brewing had focused primarily on producing draft beer for pubs. Keen to expand into the off licence market they sought our help to come up with a label design for their bottles.

First task to complete was to evolve their existing brand mark to ensure it was in a format that would work harder for the company. Priority one in craft beers is to ensure they get the attention they deserve on shelf, in the ultra competitive and expanding retail environment.

For the design system developed a retro 1940’s comic book style for the illustration, the aim being to communicate this message of “Trouble is brewing!”. The creative names developed by Trouble Brewing’s team needed to be reflected in their label design. This was a challenge we were delighted to rise to.

In-store marketing materials and point of sale were develop to bring this fun and irreverent brand to life. Their website was also central in communicating their message to both their customers and to their growing export market.
