We based these beer mats on posters we had previously done. Curiously what we found was that people who hadn’t previously tasted craft beer were enticed to do so by the description of the flavours. So we thought let’s do some beer mats with the tasting notes for each beer and see can we convert some more Heineweiserberg drinkers.

The final name chosen was “A Winter’s Ale” and it was made using a special blend of spices from Green Saffron – a renowned spice importer based in Midleton, Co. Cork.  A blend of orange, cloves and star anise gave it a distinctive but subtle christmas after taste.
